How pricing works

What counts as a check?

A check is any time an action is evaluated against your constraints — whether triggered by an AI agent via MCP, a human through the web interface, or the API. Recording a trace and escalating a violation are included and don’t count separately.

Can I change plans?

Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect immediately. If you exceed your plan’s check limit, we’ll notify you before any action is blocked — governance doesn’t stop because of billing.

Why not per-seat pricing?

Per-seat pricing penalises organisations for including more people in governance. We want the opposite — more people governed means better institutional coordination. You should never have to choose between good governance and your budget.
